The SQUEEZE: Pursuing purpose, passion, and profits will always require discipline and determination as well as a strong desire to succeed. Tony Hsieh expresses this sentiment in Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion, and Purpose. An American internet entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Tony Hsieh is the CEO of Zappos.com, an online shoe and clothing retailer. Hsieh’s narrative explores how he co-founded Link Exchange, an internet advertising network, selling it subsequently to Microsoft. Hsieh began his career at nine years old, starting a breeding business and following it up with a mail order button pursuit. Hsieh later founded an investment fund, Venture Frogs. Tony Hsieh’s book is an inspiring read.
Notable Endorsement: “DELIVERING HAPPINESS is a glimpse into the mind of one of the most remarkable business leaders of our time. Like its author, the book is authentic, oddly original, doesn't take itself too seriously--yet delivers a potent message. This book needs to be read by anyone who takes the happiness of other people seriously.” –Dave Logan, professor at the Marshall School of Business/USC and co-author of Tribal Leadership and the Three Laws of Performance
